Avanços na detecção e tratamento do câncer ginecológico: novas triagens e tratamentos emergentes
Resumo
O câncer é a segunda principal causa de morte global, causando cerca de 9,6 milhões de óbitos anuais, com aumento da incidência devido à maior expectativa de vida e exposição a fatores de risco. Entre os cânceres femininos, o cervical é o mais comum e tem uma carga desproporcional em países em desenvolvimento, com alta incidência e mortalidade. O tratamento para cânceres ginecológicos inclui quimioterapia e terapias direcionadas, com avanços recentes na medicina personalizada. Portanto, este artigo visa explorar os avanços na detecção e tratamento do câncer ginecológico, destacando: os progressos nas técnicas de triagem e novos biomarcadores; as estratégias de prevenção; e as novas terapias emergentes, incluindo terapias direcionadas e imunoterapia. Trata-se de uma revisão da literatura utilizando artigos de bases de dados renomadas, como PubMed e Scopus, publicados nos últimos 10 anos. A análise crítica dos estudos selecionados considera a qualidade metodológica e a eficácia das abordagens inovadoras. Os avanços na detecção precoce e no tratamento do câncer ginecológico têm melhorado significativamente os cuidados com as pacientes, com a triagem eficaz e a vacinação contra o HPV reduzindo a incidência de câncer cervical. A detecção precoce de câncer ovariano ainda é desafiadora, mas novas estratégias e biomarcadores oferecem esperança. Tratamentos emergentes como inibidores PARP e imunoterapia estão oferecendo novas perspectivas para casos avançados. Futuras pesquisas devem focar em melhorar a triagem e a eficácia das novas terapias para otimizar o manejo da doença.
