Estudo do empilhamento de materiais anisotrópicos no campo gravitacional

Este artigo tem como objetivo realizar uma análise de pilhas formadas de materiais anisotrópicos, ou seja, materiais que não possuem propriedades constantes em todas as direções. Esse tipo de material expressa com boa aproximação a realidade dos empilhamentos que ocorrem na natureza, por exemplo, podemos ver as montanhas como gigantescas pilhas formadas ao longo dos séculos por rochas de diferentes formas e tamanhos, grãos de areia, pedaços de madeira e diferentes outros materiais. A partir desse estudo, serão abordados ângulo que caracterizava a pilha experimental – o ângulo de repouso, buscando relacionar esse ângulo com alguma propriedade microscópica dos elementos constituintes da pilha, como por exemplo: o tamanho, a rugosidade de sua superfície, coeficientes de restituição, seu formato ou “grau de anisotropia”
